Reykjavik Airport (IATA: KEF; ICAO: BIKF), officially named as Keflavík International Airport or also known as Reykjavik-Keflavik Airport is the main airport serving Reykjavik area, in Iceland. It is located in Keflavik, about 50 km from Reykjavik city centre. KEF Airport has one unique passenger terminal with 3 floors. Other information

For all items lost or left inside the Aircraft, please contact with the airline’s handling company.
All items found at the airport are stored by Securitas.
For items lost at the Arrivals or Departures Hall, please claim your personal belongings at where the lost items are registered.
Bear in mind that it takes between 24 to 48 hours to register a lost item.
The Lost & Found service operates daily from 08:00 am to 04:00 pm.


Keflavik airport is the perfect flight connection. The airport has only one terminal making connections quick and easy. Comfort is of high level where passengers are offered free unlimited WiFi, charging stations, good variety of food and drinks, showers and family rooms. Furthermore, there are several direct domestic flights between Keflavik Airport and Akureyri Airport (AEY) during the whole year and specially more intensively during the seasonal months.

Banking Services

Foreign Exchange at KEF Airport is the Arion Bank. You’ll find it at the arrivals and departures halls and 14 ATMs located within the terminal. The Arion Currency Card is a practical way for travellers to pay in Iceland. The Card is accepted everywhere. No need to get a new currency. You can ask for further details about it at the Arrivals hall.

Children Services

Children will be given books and colours from KEF Airport when at the Security area (book with Icelandic animals and interesting information about these animals). Lego table is located in the commercial area. Pushchairs are available in the check-in hall so our youngest travelers don´t have to walk very far; the pushchairs are for children from 6 months old and up to 20 kg.

Disabled Passengers Services

Passengers should submit an assistance request at least 48 hours prior to departure through their air carrier, its agent or tour operator. When you apply for such assistance, which is free of charge, the request needs to reach our service desk 36 hours prior to departure. Keflavik international airport offers assistance to passengers with reduced mobility. This service is provided free of charge by specially trained staff. This service includes:

• Passengers who need a wheelchair
• Passengers who are hard of hearing
